Kurt Harald Isenstein

Kurt Harald Isenstein was born on August 13, 1898, in Hannover. Isenstein studied at the Academy of Arts on Berlin. He subsequently worked as an art teacher and a professional sculptor there, producing the bust of Albert Einstein in front of the Einstein Tower in Potsdam.
Politically persecuted in Germany, he emigrated to Denmark in 1934 and to Sweden in 1943. He worked there as an artist and music teacher there and returned to Denmark in 1946, where he lived in Copenhagen until his death.
Kurt Harald Isenstein died in Copenhagen on February 3, 1980.
